SUMMARY:Dan + Shay
DESCRIPTION:Dan + Shay is the country duo comprised of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney\, who met in Nashville\, Tenn. in 2012 and began writing together. Dan + Shay’s first single\, “19 You + Me” was released on October 14\, 2013\, and it garnered positive reviews. Their debut album\, Where It All Began\, dropped on April 1\, 2014\, and in that same year\, they were nominated by the Academy of Country Music for the Vocal Duo of the Year. They began touring with Hunter Hayes as his opening act for his We’re Not Invisible tour starting in March 2014\, and from June to October 2014\, Dan + Shay opened for Blake Shelton’s Ten Times Crazier tour. The two soon started their own 10-show headlining tour\, which kicked off in Minneapolis\, and have been performing for enthusiastic audiences ever since.

DESCRIPTION:Experience a color run like no other! We’ll run/walk\, laugh\, giggle\, and be splashed with beautiful colors along Puget Sound in race #3 of our RUN the FUN 5K Series! Bring your household and close friends\, a sense of adventure\, and wear white. ???? All ages and abilities are welcome!\n.\nSpectators are not allowed\, however a member of the same household of a participant may provide support along the activity area. Everyone in attendance must wear a mask.\n.\nThis 5K run takes place along the trails at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place. The course starts and finishes at the Central Meadow. The trail is paved and provides flat areas and moderate inclines. This 5K course is USATF certified and chip timed. Results will be made available on our website the week after the race.\n.\n✅Registration:\nTo accommodate social distancing requirements\, participants are asked to pre-register only and choose your time based on your experience level. NO DAY-OF-RACE REGISTRATION.\n.\n✅Registration fee:\n$30 – ages 13 & up\n$15 – youth 12 and under\nPre-Registration required by August 16\, 2021.\n.\n✅Race Packets:\nRace packets will be available for pick up: Wednesday\, August 25 from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM at the Lakewood Community Center.
